For those who don’t know, both Naked Juice and Kashi are facing class action lawsuits.
Naked Juice is being sued for using GMOs and synthetic substances in its “Non-GMO” and “All-Natural” products. To read more about this case, click HERE.
Kashi is being sued for using hazardous substances, including uranium by-products, in its “All-Natural” products. To read more about this case, click HERE.
Since a lot of people have been asking for an update on these two cases, I decided to speak with Yve Golan, a lawyer who involved in both the Naked Juice and Kashi class action lawsuits, at the recent Natural Products Expo East trade show in Baltimore.
As she mentions in the video, if you want to participate in these cases, she can be contacted via her website.
It is also very important to point out that PepsiCo (parent company of Naked Juice) donated $2.5 million to defeat Proposition 37, California’s GMO-labeling initiative, and Kellogg’s donated close to $800,000 to defeat Proposition 37.
Needless to say, these are two of the many companies that I am boycotting because they have completely betrayed the American consumer by fighting against GMO-labeling.

Thank you very much for this post, Max. I have been wondering what has been going on with both of these company’s. I made sure to send the link to people who are still eating and drinking these products.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for stopping by and for sharing this link with others. When I have further news, I’ll be sure to pass it along.
Live well,
Max
How do we get this information out to even more people, I heard about kashi using unnatural ingredients etc a couple years ago and have stopped buying the brand ever since, but they have such a presence In the health food stores and are one of the few ” natural” brands the regular commercial markets carry. Everyone thinks they are what they say they are. How can this be?
Hi Haley,
It is a challenge that we face because mainstream media is not too interested in publicizing this information. Why? Pepsi, Kellogg’s and others are such big advertisers. Therefore, it falls on all of us to educate our friends and family as to what is really happening.
From what I hear, these boycotts we are doing against many of these brands are having a real impact — sales are down — and the companies facing these class action lawsuits are very concerned. So, it is just a matter of everyone sharing this information as much as possible.
Live well,
Max
