Eco-Friendly Fridays: Loliware has Invented the Future – An Edible Cup!

On a recent episode of the Living Maxwell Show on Periscope (please follow @livingmaxwell on Periscope), I interviewed Chelsea Briganti, co-founder of an absolutely fascinating company called Loliware.

Loliware has invented the world’s first edible, biodegradable cup. Yes, a cup that you can eat!

As Chelsea Briganti shared with me in the video above, the company currently offers four different flavors of its edible cups – citrus, tart cherry, matcha green tea, Madagascar vanilla  – and all of the ingredients in the cups are non-GMO, plant-based, and vegan.

What started out as a design competition for jello, Loliware has emerged as a business with very serious potential and within a few months of launching, it has already signed partnerships with companies such Four Seasons, W Hotels, and Aramark. Many, more are in the works as well.

Want to try these cups for yourself?

For Living Maxwell readers, I have arranged a special deal with Loliware where you will receive 10% off all orders until September 4th by using this link.

Loliware is one of the most interesting companies that I have come across since starting my blog nearly six years ago, and it could be serious game-changer in the world of packaging and sustainability.
