In case you haven’t seen it, this rap video about Whole Foods has gone viral on YouTube.
It is pretty comical. My favorite lines include:
“You know the deal with the little shopping carts they got” – Yes, I do. I really enjoy them.
“I’ve been on edge ever since they took Kombucha out” – This move caused quite a controversy.
“Pay my eighty bucks for 6 things and get the heck out” – All Whole Foods shoppers can relate to this.
“This buster is on his iPhone talking to his friends picking up some cayenne pepper for his Master Cleanse”
The video was produced by an entity called Fog and Smog Films. What a brilliant coup for Whole Foods to have a video like this go viral.
Hello Max,
The response has been very positive among the Team Members but I
am unclear how our Leadership Team feels about it but I will look into it and let you know.
WFMI was not involved.
BTW I am very grateful for your posts–enriching, gratifying and I feel
I have a kindred spirit/an ally. I am sharing your website with many of my customers when appropriate who are seeking reliable and honest resources for healthful living.
All the best,
stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
Thanks so much for your kind words and for your active participation/reading of my blog. That means a lot to me!!! Knowing that people enjoy what I have to say and come back repeatedly is a tremendous feeling, and I cannot express my gratitude enough.
Thanks again!
Live well,
Max
Hello Max,
I meant to email you this music video when it first surfaced
but I forgot to do so. It is a TM in the video and he nailed it on so many levels.
All the best,
stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
I agree, really well done. What do the people inside WFMI think about it? Great free publicity. Was WFMI involved in this at all or did they have to give the green light for it?
Thanks!
Live well,
Max
