Organic Insider: The USDA is Failing the Organic Food Industry, NOSB Meeting Recap

The National Organic Standards Board (NOSB), a 15-member board which makes recommendations to the USDA about rules and regulations, just wrapped up its bi-annual meeting in Jacksonville, Florida.

What became very clear during this meeting, and as confirmed by comments made by NOSB members, is that maintaining the integrity of organic is just not a top priority for the USDA.

And for those of us who care deeply about organic, this is incredibly worrisome.

To read my full recap of this NOSB meeting and exactly how the USDA is not doing enough to protect organic, just sign up for a free trial of Organic Insider (no credit card required), and I will send it right over to you.

Wishing you a great day!
