My Organic Lunch Yesterday at Liquid Earth

I am in Baltimore attending Natural Products Expo East, one of the biggest organic trade shows of the year.

During the first day of the show yesterday, I dashed out and grabbed lunch at Liquid Earth, an organic restaurant and juice bar near my hotel. Here is what I had.

DOUBLE SHOT OF WHEATGRASS

MISO SOUP

What you see on the top are shiitake mushrooms and what you can’t see on the bottom is arame, the sea vegetable. The bread is a four-grain farmhouse baguette.

This soup had excellent flavor and balance.

RAW VEGETABLE ROLL

Spinach tortilla with hummus, carrots, cabbage, sprouts, green peppers, radishes and mushrooms.

This vegetable roll was definitely the highlight of the meal. It was light and refreshing yet filling at the same time.

Liquid Earth also has a huge selection of juices and smoothies. The next time I am in Baltimore, I will definitely be coming back to Liquid Earth.
