What I Ate on Saturday in Los Angeles

BREAKFAST

I started my day with two organic juices. The large was celery, cucumber, kale and beet. The small was carrot.

Eating cantaloupe from Whole Foods in the press room while finishing my posts. Probably not organic.

LUNCH

Organic salad with quinoa, tomatoes, beets, hummus, olives and greens.

The cooler I keep in my car that holds my salad.

DINNER

Back to Whole Foods for an organic salad with rice, tomatoes, greens, carrots, cucumbers and ratatouille.

DESSERT (IN MY HOTEL ROOM WHILE TYPING THIS POST)

I got this raw dessert, Merry’s Miracle Tart from Hail Merry, at the trade show today. About half organic and the founder said organic certification will be coming soon.

I have eaten my fair share of raw chocolate but this dessert was as good as anything I’ve ever had. Simply spectacular. Fantastic, decadent taste but not overly rich.
