– Extracted using a cold-pressed method below 120 degrees
Health Benefits: Studies have shown that raw cacao powder has four times the amount of antioxidants than green tea. Furthermore, it has tons of essential minerals such as magnesium, sulfur, iron and potassium.
Uses: I put a tablespoon of raw cacao powder into my morning smoothie. It can also be used in yogurts, on granola, in cereal and to make raw chocolate.
Raw cacao powder is not a sweetener. For a sweetener, I use coconut palm sugar or honey.
