* Ultrafine particles are linked to serious health conditions such as lung cancer and cardiovascular disease. The EPA warns about the dangers of ultrafine particles.

* Using a Particle Counter (a Class 1 medical device), we test the Intellipure vs. the Molekule and the Intellipure vs. the Molekule. Both tests demonstrate that the Intellipure removes 100% of all ultrafine particles while the Molekule and the Dyson both fall very short of that number.

* Intellipure machines are 40x more efficient than the standard HEPA air machines.

* The patented DFS kill zone technology is proven to remove 99.99% of all harmful viruses, fungi, molds, bacteria and particles as small as .007 micron in size.

* Use the code LIVINGMAXWELL to get 10% off your Intellipure machine.

Genetically-Engineered Trees????? Yes, and Why Humanity Should be Petrified

SHARE:

The more time that you spend in the organic industry, the more you learn about what is truly going on and what you find is pretty scary.

While I try to remain as optimistic as possible, the reality is that the organic industry is under a constant existential threat from genetically-modified organisms (GMOs).

Even though organic food has never been more popular, nearly 80% of the food on supermarket shelves contains GMOs and organic remains less than 1% of all farmland acreage in the U.S. While 64 nations around the world require GMOs to be labeled, the U.S. does not. Why?

Because the ag-biotech industry has “purchased” agricultural policy in our country, by spending $572 million on campaign contributions and lobbying from 1999-2010.

My Superfood Breakfast Smoothie – Using Tea as the Base

SHARE:

When I was at Expo West this past Spring, I was talking with Jerry Zeifman, president of Health Matters America, a distributor of various organic foods, and asked him what he eats for breakfast.

Jerry, who looks looks about 10 years younger than his actual age, told me that he drinks smoothies filled with superfoods and uses organic herbal tea as his base.

Immediately, I thought to myself, “Using tea in a smoothie? Yeah, that makes total sense. Why didn’t I think of that?”

While I had been making the exact same smoothies as Jerry, I was using Brazil nut milk instead of organic tea.

I have since cut back on nut milk and make it about twice per week but am now incorporating tea a majority of the time, thanks to Jerry.

How Do Your Favorite ‘Organic’ and ‘Made with Organic’ Snack Bars Rate? Take a Look at Cornucopia’s Scorecard

SHARE:

When you are in the checkout line at the supermarket and looking for a nutritious snack to satiate your hunger, take caution when selecting an energy bar.

The energy or snack bar market is big business — a $9 billion industry — and many people are easily fooled by the slick marketing that food companies employ to get you to purchase their products.

The absolute first thing to look for is a certified organic snack bar — one that has the green and white USDA organic seal on it.
