What’s The Story with the Millions of Uncounted Votes for Proposition 37

There is a story circulating on the Internet (many people may have read about it on Natural News) that there are millions of uncounted votes for California’s Proposition 37, the state’s GMO-labeling initiative, which we lost 53% to 47%.

When I first heard about this, I didn’t make much of it at all. Why?

Because the people running the campaign haven’t said a word about it and I was positive that if we truly had a chance of overturning the decision, we would have heard something from them.

After many people contacted me looking for answers, I finally reached out to the Yes on 37 campaign manager, Gary Ruskin.

Here is the email that I received from him today:

There are still about three million uncounted votes. About two million of those are early voters, whom we lost by a large margin. We won’t win. But the Secretary of State is still counting, and we have ceded none of our rights in this process.

So, that is the latest.

If hear anything more about this, I’ll be sure to let you know but as I first suspected, this thing is done.
