GMO-Labeling Dinner and After-Party Fundraiser at Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore

With major food and chemical companies spending millions and millions of dollars to defeat GMO-labeling efforts in this country, my friend Vani Hari and I have decided to take action.

Just as we did two years ago for Prop 37 in California and last year for I-522 in Washington, the two of us will be throwing a fundraiser for Oregon and Colorado, two states that will be voting on GMO-labeling in the next few months.

Both the dinner and after-party will be taking place in Baltimore during Natural Products Expo East on September 18th at the Inn at the Black Olive, and all net proceeds will be donated to the two campaigns.

We are thrilled to have two fantastic companies sponsoring this event – .ORGANIC and Suja.

.ORGANIC is the new Internet address for organic products and services. I believe this is a real game-changer for the organic industry, and several very prominent organic companies have already agreed to begin using .organic addresses.

Suja, a long-time supporter of GMO-labeling, is the leading pressed organic juice company and was named the #3 most promising company in the U.S. by Forbes magazine.

Seating is very limited, so please reserve your spot early.

Vani and I would love to see you there!

Also, if you are going to be at Expo East, my friends at the Inn at the Black Olive are doing some other things to keep us fed with healthy, organic food.

* They will be delivering organic box lunches to the Baltimore Convention Center each day that the trade show floor is open — September 18th to the 20th.

* They will be hosting an organic, raw vegan superfood dinner on Wednesday, September 17th and an organic happy hour/biodynamic wine dinner on Friday, September 19th.
