What I Ate in Los Angeles Yesterday and Took on the Plane Back to NYC

Very quickly, my trip to California came to end. Yesterday was my last day in Los Angeles and I had a noon flight back to NYC. Needless to say, I had an amazing trip to Expo West.

BREAKFAST

I started off with a double shot of wheatgrass.

Then I had a Green Giant — celery, cucumber, spinach, parsley and wheatgrass. Yes, more wheatgrass.

PLANE RIDE

I brought two salads on the plane. One was a lentil and spinach salad, and the other one was greens with avocado and tomatoes. Both were very fresh.

I also took along this Rayo De Sol carrot bread, which was fantastic. It was sweet and filling, and kept me satiated the entire trip.

Here is a sign as you leave the parking garage of Erewhon Natural Foods Market in LA, where I bought all of my food for the day. Is this sign not the best???

By the way, I shot a video with the general manager of Erewhon where we talked all about the market and what makes it so special. The video should be up within the next week or so.

I am back in NYC now and have plenty of blog posts to write and videos to edit. Stay tuned for my Top 5 Organic Products of Expo West. It will be coming soon.
